TOWN HALL TESCO'S MEETING SET FOR MONDAY 19TH

Bridgwater Town Council are holding a public meeting on MONDAY 19TH MARCH at the Bridgwater Town Hall to give people the chance to put their questions directly to TESCOS and SEDGEMOOR DISTRICT COUNCIL about their plans to build a gigantic Tesco extra on the site of the former Sedgemoor Splash swimming pool and which would involve the disposal of the Brewery Field .

Town Clerk Alan Hurford says "The meeting will have a single item agenda which is the proposed Tesco development at Northgate. Members of the public are invited to submit written questions in advance to the town clerk which will be refered to the company in advance for response at the meeting."

Mayor of Bridgwater, Cllr Pat Parker, who will chair the meeting , said  "Tescos will send 1 or 2 representatives to answer questions and  SDC will send the same. This would be Duncan McGinty and either Kerry Rickards or Doug Bamsey. People who  submit written questions will be taken first and only then would questions from the floor be taken. "

The meeting will be held at Bridgwater Town Hall and will start at 7.30pm. Anyone is welcome to attend.
